Past and future
In 2020, in collaboration with the City Council of Capellades, we undertook the ambitious roof rehabilitation of the iconic Casa Bas building, located in the heart of Capellades.
This project involved the demolition of the old 380-square-meter roof, aiming to consolidate a new structure. Using metal beams, carefully connected to the original stonework through concrete girders, a solid and durable foundation was achieved.
We preserve the original aesthetic
The new roof, constructed with Arab tiles, features a traditional overhang with double tiles and double common brick, thus preserving the original aesthetics of the building. Although a labor-intensive process, the final result was highly satisfying.
